Yep, haven't posted any new weekly tracks lately and I don't really have an excuse other than "I was busy learning how to pick women up". Lol yeah, that's basically it right there.
This post is more of a Happy New Years than anything else. I'll see what I can muster up for a weekly track soon enough.
So until then, HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE!!!
Love and Ciao,
Trevor.

3000 PROFILE VIEWS REACHED! + NEW MYSPACE LAYOUT! + NEW PHOTOS!
Yes! 3000 profile views have just been reached! It might not seem like a lot to you, but it sure does mean a lot to me. Any accomplishment is an accomplishment as far as I can tell.
You might also notice that the LPS myspace profile has been altered and changed according to the new release! It totally kicks ass. You can never go wrong with shades of black and red. EVER.
Originally, the idea was to have falling green stars, but when I couldn't change the color of the sections from....... *wince*...... pink, I thought I'd start from the beginning and work up an original one.
And thirdly, new pictures of your truly will be going up soon. View and cherish. And as always...

Post-Performance Reflections
Well, I'm glad to say that the performance, although short, was a success and to those that came out to see me perform, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I also wanna applaud all that performed in the event. You took your everything and put it into music and/or words for everyone to hear and I just think it was all beautiful.
I felt bad for this one girl though. her mother died the year before and so she decided to sing the last song her mother ever sung which turned out to be a badly ripped recording of a country song sung on a dying microphone. LOL classic dark humor. Gotta love it............... the situation, not the.... uhh........... yeah.....
There were some things that were different than in my head...
There weren't 200 people... more like upwards of 30.
All the lights were on in the cafeteria.
It wasn't really a piano, more like an electrical keyboard.
But it totally rocked and I'll have to make this an annual thing - I know there are some people who weren't able to go this time around.
Geesh... walking back into school was kinda surreal... you know you think that you write something off for good when, heh, it turns out to be the place that hosts your first performance...
I left CDs in the hallway and chucked some beneath the door to the main office. No complaints yet.......... IT WASN'T MY IDEA! IT WAS MY DAD'S!
Alright, well, I've got some musical treats for you all in the next couple weeks so sit tight and enjoy!

Everything's BACK TO NORMAL + Last-Minute Concert Details!!!
Well, I just spent the last three hours fixing a VERY convenient problem.
Why did all of the Little Plastic Stars music on Podsafe Music Network sound so... weird? Two reasons...
1. Flash 10 update.
2. I (use to) export finished tracks in 96k instead of the standard 44.1. Lingo for fellow Music Peoplez.
So the reason being, the Flash 10 update was NOT liking the 96k very well so it decided to smack my entire setlist of tracks and ideas in the face along with the separate account for the CD release.
But there's good in the world once again and everything is improved and re-faced, roaring and ready for the premiere performance tomorrow AND the debut release of Truths, Lies, and Lullabies!
-------------
Some up-to-date info about the concert...
Though I know I'm here to push myself, I STRONGLY SUGGEST you stick around for the whole setlist of performers because they're all in the same position I'm in! They've all poured their hearts and effort into the arts!
Having said that, if you're not able to come for the show (which should start around 6), come at or after 7 for your's truly. ;-D
Don't forget to BRING THREE DOLLARS FOR THE COVER CHARGE. If you don't you WON'T get in!!!
--------------
Unless I post one more entry before tomorrow night, it's all Twittering from here on out! Wanna follow? http://twitter.com/balps

Album On Hold (Again) +Weekly New Tracks CRITICAL INFO
Album release on hold once again. This time for technical difficulties. Gotta talk with the people at Podsafe Music Network as to why all the tracks I've ever uploaded sound demonized.
In the meantime, since it's affected all tracks and ideas ever uploaded as well, I'll be turning things around.
Here's the change: I'm turning it into an email-based weekly new track. You want the weekly new track? give me your email if I don't add you to the list already. More info on that as it comes.
Love and Ciao,
Trevor.
P.S. Thanks to theo for the concert info correction. It's on the 10th, not the 5th.

The Dare
I really wish it would have been a bet instead because I could have racked some serious dough.
Before the football game this past Thanksgiving, Demi Lovato sung "The Star-Spangled Banner".
In my opinion, she raped it. It was BEYOND raping. As a matter of fact, she sung it in such a way that made me look back on how the teenie-bopper society and above adopted an R&B style of singing and invaded the old traditions that still hold true and dear to our hearts. LIKE THE NATIONAL ANTHEM.
Now I'm not against creativity and expressing yourself through unpopular means. Please, I encourage you to release it on a CD with some electro beats and amazing feats, but when it comes to singing it in front of people who like it sung properly and have it be given the respect it so proudly deserves, get the fuck off the stage.
I said the above to my Drunkle who, of course, agreed with me, but when I said it to my Dad, he stood on her side.
First he threw out her net-worth and fame, though I have no idea who the hell she is. Then when that didn't work for him, he played the "vocal range" card, which I proudly shot down.
"Fine, we'll see. Make it this week's new track."
And so it is.
Having JUST sung and recorded it, I'm quite happy with the results. It's simply enough the usual a capella version. Bare voice and all to prove the point to my Dad that songs like The National Anthem should NOT be sung in "just any way", but that it needs to be sung with pride, sorrow, and a sense of accomplishment.
Love and Ciao,
Trevor.
P.S. I just checked out who she is. Camp Rock? The Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience? Oh please, spare me the horror of that demographic already.

No New Track For This Week + Concert Details
Well, with the concert a little over two weeks away and what with the butterflies in my stomache having butterflies in THEIR stomaches, I think I've come to a comfortable tracklisting. First I'll belt out "Subject Yourself" and then play out with the unreleased track "Blondie".
Been thinking about saying something between those two tracks. Something like "WHAT'S UP CHIPPEWA?!" You know, like how bands when they tour they shout out wherever they are....... "CHICAGO!"........ "LA!"............. "AUSTIN, TEXAS!".............
So anyways, I'M excited to show 200+ people a good time. Am I nervous? Meh, a little, but not because I think people will hate it because most everyone loves it, but rather because it's 200 PEOPLE. When I first thought about doing the first live performance, I thought 20 TOPS MAYBE 30 would be there. CAN NOT WAIT.
-------------------------
It would appear as if the track I gave you, "I Hope You'll Be Around", was never given with the VOCAL TRACK, A MUCH NEEDED INGREDIENT....
Never fear, I've got a back up for this upcoming week.
All apologies.
-------------------------
I've got some new songs I've been working on, none of which I can show or even tell you about, but I KNOW you're gonna love it all!
Love and Ciao,

Weekly New Tracks - Deadline Changes + "Notes Via Stalker"
Yeah, as with the current trend I have, I'm thinking it's best to just say that I'll be aiming for a Wednesday release, but to more likely than not have it come out on a Thursday or even a Friday from now on.
Having said that, I DO have this week's track ready for you all just in time for tomorrow morning bright and early.
I thought I'd continue with the covers in place of my creativity block and have come up with a suitable take on Barenaked Ladies' "I'll Be That Girl". I've also changed the name, as before, to fit the change and feel accordingly to "Notes Via Stalker".
Words I sing are as follows:
I'LL BE THAT GIRL
If I were you (and I wish that I were you),
All the things Id do to make myself turn blue
I suppose Id start by removing all my clothes,
Tie my pantyhose around my neck
Ill be that girl -- and you would be right over
If I were a field, you would be in clover
If I were the sun, you would be in shadow
And if I had a gun, there'd be no tomorrow
there'd be no tomorrow.
Love and Ciao,
Trevor.

Apology + Featured + DEBUT ALBUM NEWS!!!
Got a message from Atlantic Wave Radio through Myspace. Turns out I had a lesson to learn on KEEPING THINGS TO MYSELF.
"Noticed that you blogged about my podcast, show M0138.
Your blog page:
http://littleplasticstars. blogspot. com/2008/08/featured-atlantic-wave-radio. html
Just wondered why you felt it didn't go very well?
I'm just interested in what you thought was wrong, if I didnt handle something well or if you think your music just didn't fit in well in my chosen tracks?
Welcome hearing your views.
Thanks
Steve"
The post he's referring to being...
"Atlantic Wave Radio featured "The Alcoholic". As always, I'm grateful for the play, but....... damn................ listen to it and you'll see what I mean...
MO137
As I said to my Dad, "...it sounds like the producer molested The Alcoholic... or maybe it's the other way around".
Yeah, thinking on it now... 137 episodes under his belt... the other tracks don't sound like mine.......... and......... and.......................... it's me, isn't it................... yeaaaahhh.............."
In response, I said...
"First of all, when I said "It sounds like the producer molested the track...", that was pretty strong and definitely unnecessary - I do apologize - and thinking back, I would have chosen my words differently. I ended that comment with "...or maybe it's the other way around." It really is the other way around.
If nobody else has jumpy compression but me, it's me. I'm still trying to work out the production side of music and it's pretty evident here that I have a long ways to go still.
You've got a great podcast with great music. Disregard what I said because it's simply ME complaining about MY shotty production.
I noticed that you featured me on the 30th of October. I thank you very much for that.
Once again, I do apologize for the comment I made. You didn't deserve it.
Trevor."
I got:
"Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me.
It's one of those cases where no one else says anything and I couldnt hear anything too glaringly obvious on first pass.
That said it is pretty bad. There is a definate difference in the track as it plays out. Luckily I keep gigabytes of stuff as I record so I can track down exactly where it went wrong and I have. :-)
So really its me that should be apologising to you.
I had started to change my production methods but I will remove the faulty processing and hopefully things will improve.
As I said in the original email I was just out to find out what the problem was, none of us are prefect but I do try and get there, little step by little step, sounds like your pretty much the same.
So a big thanks from me for pointing out my awful audio, hopefully I will smooth things out and make everyone's tracks sound as good as they were originally recorded, thats my aim at least.
I see you have another new track up on the Podsafe Music Network, i'll be playing that on the show next week one day.
Speak soon
Steve"
I don't deserve such kindness.
------------------------------
Yeah, a couple new plays to note.
First one is Cirque de Sophie. As you search for "Aimee's Heartbreak", you'll notice that before you reach the track, there's a funny but EXTREMELY EXPLICIT AND MATURE skit. BEWARE.
http://cirquedesophie.mevio.com/
Then there's Dalecast with "The Alcoholic". Obviously a big fan of me if not that song.... he plays THAT SONG every time! Not that there's anything wrong with that, I'll just have to come up with tracks that sound like "The Alcoholic" so he's got more to choose from.
As always, Dalecast link is to the right.
------------------------------
Alright, here it goes.
"Truths, Lies, and Lullabies" is going on sale in download format the day of the concert!
A physical release is to be expected though no date is set for that just yet.
More news on that as it comes.
------------------------------
I've been thinking........ maybe I should switch "Love Somebody" with "Subject Yourself" for the concert's tracklisting just to keep with the pace......... I don't know........ any comments on that? I RARELY hear from fans and it would be great to as, you know, I WRITE AND PERFORM MUSIC FOR YOU.
Love and Ciao,
Trevor.

Missed Featured For Oct. + BRAND NEW LATE TRACK!!!
Yes, I'm late, but look at what I gave you!
This is a cover of the original song by Aimee Mann known as "That's How I Knew This Story Would Break My Heart". I changed the title for the sake of the cover to "Aimee's Heartbreak". Great song but the original title is TOO DAMN LONG.
I sing:
I drew a picture of you
You and your anchor tattoo
And saw the face that I knew
Covered in shame
You drew a bird that was here
A kind of sweet chanticleer
But with a terrible fear
That the cage couldn't tame
That's how I knew this story would break my heart
When you wrote it
That's how I knew this story would break my heart
---------------
Just before October ended and RIGHT AFTER I listed the plays of October, a couple popped up.
Mental Nomad - Ep. 116
http://mentalnomad.libsyn.com/
and Dalecast - Ep. 406
Link can be found to the right, but for those who fail at finding Waldo, the link is here.

New Track: The Waning Crescent Moon Before The Sunrise
Sorry for the two-day de-lay in a new track. Hadn't thought of anything until now and what better time to release a song on Halloween than with a track themed on it!
The Waning Crescent Moon Before The Sunrise
In the dreams that you protrude,
I don't mean to be rude,
but I know what you're thinking.
In the things that you say,
understatements that portray
a different side of you.
In the waning crescent moon
that leads the sun across the view,
I'll be thinking of you before the sunrise.
Love and Ciao,
Trevor.

New Track + This Month's Plays + Concert Date IS THE SAME!!!
Good news! What WAS suppose to be a date change for the concert is STILL ON THE 10TH and is SET FOR THE 10TH.
------------
I know I was pretty late on delivering a new track - all apologies. I'm going to try and make an effort to be more on time.
REGULAR GUY
Cheer up.
Way to bring down the mood when you're in the bottom.
Things look grey now. Wait for a while, then smile.
It's not bad, it just isn't how you wanted it to be.
I've got this feeling it'll last for a while.
Crack open a beer and bring the wall down.
You've gotta be open to new things - put the cache of red tape away.
Be honest - open and true.
I've been down that road
And it isn't good.
The things you won't
Are the things I would.
You're still young,
Don't let it die.
You'll spend your life
Just tryin' to be a regular guy.
Live life for once.
Right now.
Live it now.
-----------
As October comes to a close, I want to point out all of this month's "featured"s...
Dalecast 383
Dalecast 394
Dalecast and the big 400!!!
As always, a link to Dalecast can be found auf der rechten Seite (on the right side).
I want to congratulate Steve on reaching his 400th episode, a MAJOR milestone that not many podcasters reach!
Love and Ciao,
Trevor.

Concert Date Change + This Week's New Track
Couple things I wanna mention.
Firs off, the date for the premiere concert IS CHANGING. More as that comes, I'm expecting an answer come Friday or so.
Second off, I've been alerted that no new track has been posted. As far as that goes, I DO HAVE an idea that has words, but it's gonna have to wait until tomorrow because my ass has to get up for work at seven in the morning!
Night LPS PEOPLEZ!!

Google Map, Mapquest, Yaboohoo the FUCK out of the address to and from your house all you want just MAKE SURE YOU'RE THERE!!! I, for one, am looking forward to this very much. I've told everyone I know about this and they've sworn to tell everyone THEY know about this. Matter of fact, one friend of mine is getting all his friends drunk before it so they can LOSE IT. I've told everyone so far and I'm passing it onto you, oh dear fans: when I come on, SCREAM like a die-hard fan. Believe me, just do it. No questions - just DO IT! That's right, I said YOU, THE FAN, LOOKING AT YOUR SCREEN. WHEN YOU COME, SCREAM LIKE A DIE-HARD FAN!!!

New Track: "Welcome To The Fall" + Featured + FIRST RADIO PLAY!!!
First off, the new track is short and sweet. SHORT for a reason. I got a lot of flak about that. I just wanna make it clear that "Welcome To The Fall" is suppose to have the feeling of an "intro" and not a "song".
------------
Yes, once again, "featured" is the word.
Double dose of Your's Truly on Lonely Fella - "lps 69" AND "Breathe"...
Kinda wish there was a way of contacting him. I'm willing to send 44100 files so he doesn't have to play the 96000 files because they totally fuck with the music!
Lonely Fella Episode 27
...
"Way Past Bedtime with Gustav Bertha" is up next with "Breathe". ALL HAIL THE LAND OF SWITZER! SWITZERLAND!!!
WAY PAST BEDTIME Episode 48
...
And finally, BUGCAST.
Episode 029
---------------
And now the moment you've all been waiting for................... drum-roll please........................ MY FIRST RADIO PLAY!!!!! THAT'S RIGHT, NOT A PODCAST FEATURE, BUT A RADIO FEATURE!!!!
The details are as follows:
Tom Robinson's Introducing on BBC6
On Sunday at Midnight in the UK.
For those in the US, click on "Listen Now" at 7pm. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE RealAudio!!!
For those in the UK, the show comes on at Midnight on BBC6!!!
------------------------
Working on next week's track... I'm feeling some vocals on this one. Can't say much about it just yet.
Love and Ciao,
Trevor.

New Track: Breathe + Featured (Homecast Show)!!!
Hey!!! What's up all my homeboys, homegirls, and homeowners?! A new "featured on" to speak of along with a fresh new flippin' track!
-----------------
"Homecast Show" is the name and LA news reporting gone podcasting is their game!
Enjoy. As far as I know, they're the first to play "Flawed". Love and Kudos to them!
Homecast Show - Episode 143 (plays automatically)
-----------------
This week's track is fresh in the sense that... alright, I lied, it's not "fresh" so much as it fuckin' rocks, but... blah... you figure it out.
BREATHE
Breathe fire,
Expire,
Break it down like a morse code wire
to something that makes a little more sense.
Squeal piggy.
"On knees" gritty.
Hey, that's fitting.
Make a nice little sand castle all fall down.
Where were you when that quiet fissure of a non-existance reigned?
Where were you when the light I saw was the devil in white that came?
Where were you when the life I led started to slowly break away
And separate?
Break away.
Smash
Kill
Burn
End
Wreck
Waste
Break
Stare
Slow-motion commotion.
Devotion to a fantasy world.
"Combustible" in every sense of the word.
I've been waiting too long for a realization.
Where my heart stops beating for the next situation.
Where my weak love stands on a poor foundation.
Why does it do this to me?
I just don't get it.
Why do you do this me?
I still see your ghost sometimes.
Why do you do this to me?
Breathe.
...
Love and Ciao,
Trevor.

Featured: Inside My Head + Multiple Dalecasts + WHAT THE F*&%!!!
Alright, I went with it even when my Dad said "What is so fucking special about this track?! It's not significant, it's short... WHAT THE HELL!", but since "Say Something Beautiful To Me"'s debut on the podsafe network as a weekly filler track of an idea I had been throwing around, it's been featured SIX TIMES. Now, I'm starting to get a little frustrated as GOOD heartfelt tracks are being passed over for short diddies that have no deep-rooted feelings.
Why oh WHY is this a popular track? Maybe it's because it's about love and love's happiness and being a kid, none of which I've felt for the majority of two years.
Oh well, if the people love it...
Here goes another round of "Featured"'s to announce....
...
"Inside My Head" Podcast featured by a hott avatar (as seen on her podsafe profile) and a sexxy voice. She featured... yeah... that's right... SAY SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL TO ME!!!
http://jen.phantompower.org/ (Episode 66 - the opening track + commentary)
Along with the Cast of the Dale kind....
DC 364
DC 365
DC 368

I know I know I KNOW.... haven't been working on the DaleCast tribute lately... go ahead, call me a wanker, I know you want to. Blah................... I'll go right on it this minute.

New Track: Flawed
I want you all to enjoy and appreciate "Flawed". This is me now sadly giving away tracks from the second album....
That's right, it hurts me to do this because I don't want to kill the hype of "Truths, Lies, And Lullabies" but I simply have nothing else to post! I don't want to post mediocre tracks yet I don't want to give away the ass-kickers.
FLAWED
I run, I jump, I bust through walls.
If you see my future - let me fall.
I accent all my stupid flaws
And use them to erupt applause.
I'm Ray Charles in boxer shorts,
I love music, I hate sports.
I save lying as a last resort.
I guess I'm a lot like you - flawed.
Flawed.
I'm a lot like you - flawed.
Flawed.
I spend my time online buying shit I know I really don't need.
I pace myself for the sake of the addiction I feed.
I sleep naked with a nightlight in the shape of a car.
I get a little lonely so I look up - I'm seeing stars.
Flawed.
Flawed.
I'm a lot like you.
I'm fuckin' losing it too.
Hey.
I see a little of me in you.
I see a little of you in everyone.
I am something different.
Something unique.
I am something crazy,
yet powerless to you.
I am.
I am an imperfectionist.
I have feelings too.
I will prevent myself,
For I will do anything.
I will lose my mind, I said
I will commit myself
If it makes you happy.
If it keeps you flawed.
Love and Ciao,
Trevor.

Chat With Albert Lee Fizz About LPS Downloads
As I get ready to post a fresh new vocal track this Wednesday, I talked with Albert Lee Fizz in the UK (podcaster that featured a little while back on mpFREEb) about my music on download sites in the future...
Albert
you know I podcasted 'dating is hard'?
Trevorlittleplasticstars
yeah
Albert
love the tune
Trevorlittleplasticstars
many thanks for that
Albert
any plans to get your music on download sites?
Trevorlittleplasticstars
it's currently in the works, it's also trying to choose a site that works the best for us.
...
He had pointed in the direction of The Orchard which bring your music to not one, but several major sites. It's definitely an option that I'll pass by my Dad, but I love the idea and I'm pretty sure my Dad will as well.
As far as LPS on download sites, it's coming REALLY soon and I think that it would be best if I did that AFTER I released the album so once that's out, expect it to come right after.

New Track: Be Chased / Get Caught
I'm suspending the inevitable by putting a "pre-Truths, Lies, And Lullabies" track out there for this week called "Be Chased / Get Caught". Originally, it was called "Chasing Rainbows" I wanted to name it something a little less... puffy. Maybe something that didn't suggest I'm gay.
But enjoy this track, it kicks ass when you wear headphones and throw the DBs up higher than a muthafucka!
Love and Ciao,

Blah... something to think about...

Featured: This Reality Podcast
Well, this Wednesday's track is gonna KICK ASS COLLECTIVELY, but to tie you over until then, here's a new feature.
The Reality Podcast was kind enough feature "Say Something Beautiful To Me" which leads me to believe that it's not half bad. If I've got an idea and all that comes of it is a diddy and that simple diddy (which, remember, lasts for a WHOPPING minute and a half) is featured not once but twice, maybe it means I'm not a bad artist after all... which sounds like me tooting my own horn but when you take into account that music is effortless, good music is hard, and GREAT music is impossible, it should all make sense.
In the podcast, the dj says:
"Say something beautiful to me! -- -- and that's how it ends. It's just REALLY REALLY good."
Quite nice of him to say. Thank you.

Thank You Dalecast + Featured: Say Something Beautiful To Me
I went to bed at five in the morning. Before I quickly feel right to sleep, I had noticed that ever-faithful Dalecast had featured "Say Something Beautiful To Me".
I honestly didn't expect any play from that track or The Alcoholic or any track like those because, although they mean a lot to me, they don't pack a "Dating Is Hard" punch or a "They Don't Bring The Noise" pizazz.
Never before have I had the same podcaster play me this much. I am truly grateful.
Thank you Steve (because, as it turns out, is name isn't Dale).
Here's the episode...

P.S. I only just now read "Due to shortage of server space, previous episodes are now only available from me." So... if you wanna listen to an episode later on, you might not get a chance.............. SO LISTEN TO THEM NOW!!!"

New Track: Say Something Beautiful To Me
Something I had been kicking around for a while now, but haven't been able to throw down the vocals until now.
Lyrics are short and as follows...
SAY SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL TO ME
I still step in mud puddles.
When the rain comes, I run aground.
I impatiently wait for a firestorm.
I'm quite happy with this loneliness I've found.
Loneliness I've found.
Say something beautiful to me.
Say something beautiful to me.
Love and Ciao,
Trevor.

Featured: Atlantic Wave Radio
Atlantic Wave Radio featured "The Alcoholic". As always, I'm grateful for the play, but....... damn................ listen to it and you'll see what I mean...

As I said to my Dad, "...it sounds like the producer molested The Alcoholic... or maybe it's the other way around".
Yeah, thinking on it now... 137 episodes under his belt... the other tracks don't sound like mine.......... and......... and.......................... it's me, isn't it................... yeaaaahhh..............
Love and Ciao,

Featured + New Track: DALECAST + The Alcoholic
NEW TRACK...
Yep, it's that time of the week. This time around, I got personal yet against (first my atheism, then I cracked on friends, now it's my alcoholic Uncle) with "The Alcoholic".
If you know my family, you know the guy we shrug off like a bug - which is horrible because "acceptance starts when you leave it alone", but really, I'd rather not leave it alone.
He's never done shit TO the kids, but then again he hasn't done shit WITH the kids.
This song is for the alcoholic in YOUR family.
THE ALCOHOLIC
In this trying time, gotta think about
What's on your mind - gotta work it out.
Go and cover your ears, You can't think when they're all shouting,
You can't move when it's all mounting,
You can't sail when it's all sinking,
There's no pain if you're busy drinking.
It's a burning house and you're the owner.
A scared family and you're a loner.
Whiskey to harmony - "Better than a stoner".
The couch is your domain for when
You don't wanna play the game of Life.
We're a loser team fighting a losing battle.
You know what I mean. Why don't you put the bottle
Down so we can talk about it.
We're caring for you because you don't.
Foundation giving way.
Arms crossed you've got nothing to say.
Your eyes say a million words
You don't need to speak to be heard.
We hear every single god damn word.
You can't think when they're all shouting,
You can't move when it's all mounting,
You can't sail when it's all sinking,
There's no pain if you're busy drinking.
...
This is also the first time where I started with the piano and vocals and added instruments from there on. It's a transition I've wanted to do successfully for a long time. Obviously still figuring things out.

Featured: LoveHouse Radio
Featured on yet another podcast. This one from Virginia of all places, but then again I've been featured in Wisconsin, Israel, Minnesota...
The first podcast to feature the FULL song of Dating Is Hard. Madd Props where Madd Props must be given.
I'm the last song, but as always, stay for the whole show.
LHR-197
I should REALLY start getting featured on the radio. Podcasting is great and everything, but it's a method that lacks UMPH. Half the podcasts that have played me have STOPPED making new episodes and it's only been a couple MONTHS! I mean, when I was with Black Adam, staple podcasts that had their own spots on the FRONT PAGE of PMN like Rob Costlow and BandTrax are no longer making new episodes!
I got a feeling that this is where I need to, after getting the CDs pressed, send out copies to college radio and.... college radio and................. alright, so maybe I can't think of anyone else that would... TV shows...!!! Aaaaanndd...... I'll keep thinking................ any suggestions, PLEASE DO TELL!!!

New Track: It's All Down To You
As I gear towards a debut release, I've got this week's track fresh and just about ready.
This ain't no "piano only" track and there's no need to say "God, get the razors out" on this one. I'm excited about this one. Hope you all are too. It's gonna KICK YOUR ASSES COLLECTIVELY.
It's All Down To You
...
Stop thinking you're the king of the world and
You might just acquire friends.
Start betting on a winning horse and
You'll beat it 'till it's dead.
Stop lying to the Government,
They know where your family lives.
Keep buying foreign 'till you lose your job.
See how much the common-man gives.
Speak volumes to the sheep that walk
Upright, they've got phones in their ears.
Run headless and you'll twitch for a while.
Run scared, you've got so much to fear.
Give up, you've got no where to run.
The satellite is the new God.
Stand up and do something right.
Stand against - for once have an original thought
That they can't take away,
No matter what kind of prey
That they hunt everyday.
It's the words that you say
That rule the world in a way
They'll never understand
No matter how much they spend.
It's beyond their command,
It's what the people demand.
It's all down to you.
It's all down to...
Sparks fly on the fourth fourth of July
It's really missiles with your nuclear death.
Drug dealer been clean for so long.
Crooked cops plant an ounce of meth.
Towers fall and you wonder why.
We give 'em guns, they pay us in shots.
The world's running circles around us.
They all know everyone's laughing at us.
It's all down to you
It's all down to...
It's all down...
It's all down to you

Featured: Living Life as a Gay DJ in The UK + World of Sound
After a podcaster features "The Anatomy Of Truth", his response to it...
"God, get the razors out! I don't know if that's chill music or SUICIDE music!"
I swear, that was a much needed laugh after a HORRIBLE day at work. That's from a podcast that my Dad caught flying under the radar that is Podsafe Music Network's alerting system.
The podcaster who produces the podcast "Living Life as a Gay DJ in The UK" has featured me... twice... as far as I can tell. Once for "Waiting" and another time for "The Anatomy Of Truth". He says he's a fan of my work and that's always an encouraging and welcomed complement.
I do believe that a "Thank You" email is in order for making my day a little brighter.
For "The Anatomy Of Truth"...
Episode 7
For "Waiting"...
Episode 6, but you've gotta click the link on that page.
-------------------
Along with "Living Life as a Gay DJ in The UK", another play from WAYYY back in June, 25th that I never showed up on PMN's radar either is a podcast called "World of Sound" which played "The Sound Of Velvet Crushing"
Much thanks to them as well.

New Track: Dating Is Hard (FULL SONG) + LPS1 UPDATES
Yes, that is CORRECT. THE FULL "Dating Is Hard" TRACK IS FINISHED AND UP. Enjoy.
The final lyrics...
Dating Is Hard
...And I never wanna hear you say
That you're gonna find someone else today.
makes me wonder why I even try
To surprise and impress with these lies I profess.
Run your mouth in front of me.
Tell me just how hard life is for you
Like I just don't understand,
Like the life I lived is pointless to you.
Do you like my used car?
Have I said too much have I gone too far?
Do I impress thee?
I can tell you right now, it ain't like TV.
My heart's an earthquake foundry.
...And I never wanna hear you lie.
I'd rather leave first than be denied.
The kinda guy that comes on strong.
I'm going all in.
Open heart - say ahhh.
Open heart - say ahhh.
I'm going all in, say ahhh.
Coming on strong, say ahhh.
Tell me what you want me to say,
Tell me what you want me to do.
Speak tongues like it's over now.
Get loud when you throw the towel.
Get down when I disavow.
And disarm myself.
Be nice when my guard is down.
Play fair when I come around.
I'm a tourist in a ghost town.
I'm a tourist in a ghost town.
Ahhh.
The album has entered the "Mastering Phase" where the tracks are being aligned, songs are being polished w/ optional sprinkles on top like a nice convertible 1950s car!
Here's the facts...
Album:
Truths, Lies, And Lullabies
Tracks:
1. Dating Is Hard
2. Who You Really Are
3. They Don't Bring The Noise
4. Black Pepper
5. No One Is Going To Help You
6. (She's Done) Beautiful Things
7. Your Son Raised A Sinner
8. Star 69 Me
9. The Sound Of Velvet Crushing
10. Love Somebody
11. The Anatomy Of Truth
12. Home
Length of Album:
Approximately 42 minutes.
...
Happiness comes in more than one thing - this DOES appear to be an album which will be pressed. As always, things change, but EXPECT A PHYSICAL RELEASE!!!
Still gotta figure something out for the cover. I don't want something OVERLY artistic 'cause that just won't fit with the music. Originally, I was gonna do a controversial cover that coincided with the idea of "Anthems For Riots" where it would show a picture of Jesus committing suicide by falling off of a building backwards with his arms out like he was on the cross.................. yeah................ talk about controversial................. for those who appreciate the fine teachings of your Lord, all sincere apologies. Like I said, that WAS the idea, but now that the music doesn't fit that and the album name has changed, I gotta think of something else.
More as it comes.
-------------
SURPRISE SUNRISE!!!
As the OFFICIAL LPS site is being worked on, a nice little front has been erected!
Check out www.blackadammusic.com and you'll see what I mean!!!
...yeah, when you get there, you'll notice the words "(limited hand-pressed edition)". Yep, I lost it too when I read that. I though it was a GREAT idea that Dad came up with.
The "(limited hand-pressed edition)" is the early version of the album that was burned on-site at a Detroit Podcasters Meetup. Any and every podcaster there received a copy from a pile of ten. The last I checked, there was still a couple left in the pile. We'll figure something out about that sometime, I'm sure of it. ;-D

Featured: DALECAST and Twilight Series Podcast
That's right! Another play by my now "most-featured on" podcaster, DaleCast. Enjoy that play through the following link...
Episode 314
And a BIG play for me is on the most recent episode of Twilight Series Podcast where several HUGE fans of the big-name book "Twilight" discuss the world of Twilight, or as they put it...
"We are sisters from Texas, and we love the Twilight Series! Through podcasting, we hope to entertain you, as well as inspire you. We are dedicated to discussing the Twilight Series thoroughly, and have fun doing it!"
The episode can be found on this page. If you're a fan of the book, stay for the entire podcast. I've heard it, it's a great fan-based podcast. If nothing else, stay for Little Plastic Stars.
Here's their Artist Details page for LPS...

Episode 28
Can't wait to tell my sister about this. She's also a HUGE fan of the series and will most definitely freak.

The Secret "Friends Only" Show
Before I head off to Yale's Bologna Festival, a small-town festival in the town I grew up in where we celebrate - you guessed it - BOLOGNA!
The little unofficial "friends only" performance was real nice. I'll be doing one more "friends only" one before the official "everyone comes" performance because some friends weren't there. To those friends: If you didn't come to THIS performance, it was because this was short notice. You'll be there for the next one.
With this upright piano, I notice that it drowns itself out and is quiet, though I still need a vocal amp to pump up the voice.
Still all my friends REALLY enjoyed it. I've got some real emotion going on, I was sweating, NO embarrassment, looking at the ceiling the entire time (because I'm in my own little world).
The tracklisting for this secret show?...
1. Intro One
2. Intro Two
3. Naked
4. Blondie
5. Delia [A Capella]
Yes, you look at the screen puzzled because four of those tracks you've never heard of. You will eventually.
A Capella on Delia because I could remember the song word for word, but couldn't bring myself to remember the notes....... I'll get that figured out for next time. As a side note, "Delia" was actually a requested song.
Anyways, this is me leaving shortly for three days. When I come back, I'll be somewhat primed and ready for a Wednesday goodie goodie.
Love and Ciao,
Trevor.

Featured: DALECAST [Sixth Time]
So I've been looking at what songs DALECAST has played because of course he does yet another podcast featuring me a day after he's featured me.
I was wrong on the count - for the SIXTH time, here's DALECAST...
Epsiode 314
I have JUST noticed two things:
One - he's played "They Don't Bring The Noise" twice and "No One Is Going To Help You" FOUR TIMES. I'm not cracking on that, I just find that very... unprecedented...
Two - Not sure why, but my myspace link is green and everyone else's is yellow:
http://www.dalecast.co.uk/playlists/playlist314.htm
ANYWAYS, like I said, I'm not frustrated or cross, just a little curious and slightly confused. None the less, I'm quite happy he enjoys the music and I hope he features it a million times more.
Love and Ciao,
Trevor.

Another play to throw at you all.
Yet ANOTHER from DALECAST. I love my fans. I think it's time to search him out and add him as a myspace friend now...
Episode 313
-----------------------
Also gonna be at Che Cosa in downtown Mount Clemens to check out the piano for future live performances tonight. Don't know what time I'll be there so I figure there's no use in making this some kind of event.
Love and Ciao,

Had held up until now to let you all know because the episode had not been uploaded 'til recently.
UK Show 58
Great podcast for all ages. As you'll hear, the editor kind of severely cut into the song to take out the F-Bomb.

New Track: The Anatomy of Truth + FIRST LIVE PERFORMANCE
Got some good news and some GREAT news.
First the good news.
This next Wednesday's track is TOTALLY ready. It's the one I'm putting in place of the track I had to take out of the final tracklisting, "Delia". This track is called "The Anatomy Of Truth". Has to do about a certain party of person(s) in my life right now that are consistently lying to feel special...
THE ANATOMY OF TRUTH
You'll never know
Which direction to go.
It's only speed that you know...
Fast and Faster.
This silence is loud.
Covered by shroud
Of our infinite doubts.
It will last even longer.
Why do you try to change when you don't want to?
Why do you take apart the truth so that it suits you
Better?
You'll never see
What they want you to see.
It's okay to be wrong,
It's okay to be wrong.
Misunderstandings
Of an infinite nature.
It's only you that you're hurting
With emotional torture.
Why do you sabotage a good thing for a bad one?
Why do you say goodbye to the sight of a rising sun?
Heated visions glimmer right through and out your eyes.
A biased truth to take your side is what you advertise.
No one is listening
'Cause nobody cares.
When you send out your henchman,
Nobody's there to take the fall as a petty scapegoat.
Not even I.
Here I am and here I go.
When you stop, no one knows.
----------------------
Now for the GREAT news.
I have a place for my first live performance. When I get a date set, I'll IMMEDIATELY inform you all. For now, the place is Che Cosa in downtown Mount Clemens. Found the place during the Stars And Stripes Festival. It's a "hole in the wall" cafe that I ABSOLUTELY adore and love. They've got a piano there already so it's not too much of a hassle for me or you. Little to no setup time so you call all come and experience my first performance. Not concerned about a cover price right now because it IS my first performance and all.
So anyways................................... REAL excited................... EEK!!!

New Track: Waiting + Taking Out "Delia" From Album
This week's new track is my take on the Jeopardy theme called "Waiting"...
Waiting
Waiting.
Waiting for you.
Waiting for something.
Something like you.
Wasting.
Wasting my time.
What I like to do.
Is waste time on you.
Crying.
Cry all the time.
Cry out for someone
I cry out for you.
And I know
There will be
Someone new,
Someone unique
To complete me.
And I know
I will find
What I left
So far behind
So long ago.
Don't expect it to be released on anything soon. I don't have the time or the money to deal with theme song licensing.
-------------------
Working on a new track that I can't talk too much about, but CAN say that it's a resistance piece and it's SWEET.
-------------------
Because my sister doesn't want to be seen as a horrible person, she has asked that I change the title of the song "Delia" as well as the lyrics in which I'll have to re-sing... then there's the possibility of having to change the song form to fit the new lyrics... UGH! Too much of a pain, so...
I decided in the end to leave it off the album and keep it as a rare or unreleased track or something. I'll put something else in, don't worry, it'll be good.
Love and Ciao,
Trevor.

Album Title To Change + New Track
Dad and I both agree - "Anthems For Riots" doesn't sound like a proper name for the kind of music on the album. We threw around some ideas and one stuck - "Truths, Lies, and Lullabies".
It's unofficial and it's bound to change. Just thought I'd share it with you. Let me know what you think.
I still LOVE the title "Anthems For Riots" and will no doubt use it somehow in the future.
-----------
Working on a new track - my own take on the Jeopardy theme called "Waiting". Funny, eh? It's actually not bad. let me see how far I get with it.
Love and Ciao,

New Track: Home
New track, a FULL SONG too!
Home
Everyone knows which way this train will go.
You're buckled in with false trust that it won't derail.
People you know will mysteriously go away.
Tell them you love them, this might be your final day.
I just wanna go home right now,
I just wanna go home.
I just wanna go home right now.
Go home.
Go home.
If you keep smiling you might just fool 'em all.
Lie to yourself, hope the conductor stalls.
Existing is easy, living's the hard part.
Run to the exit, you've got no where to start.
I just wanna go home right now,
I just wanna go home.
I just wanna go home right now.
Go home.
Go home.
Light at the end of the tunnel.
You see the tracks are down.
If you want a Hollywood ending,
Convert back and pray that you're found.
Really excited about this one. I think I'll make it the last track on the album.
---------------
As of now, the rough (and quite early/unreliable/more songs to be added) tracklisting is...
1. Dating Is Hard
2. Who You Really Are
3. They Don't Bring The Noise
4. No one Is Going To Help You
5. (She's Done) Beautiful Things
6. Your Son Raised A Sinner
7. Star 69 Me
8. The Sound Of Velvet Crushing
9. Delia
10. Love Somebody
11. Home

Featured: Jersey Todd
New Podcast play to speak of. Didn't show up on the podsafe radar so I didn't realize it was a play for a while.
Jersey Todd - Show Number 121
I'm trying to think up some way I could give back to those who play me... not sure what to do though...
-----------------
Yeah, it's Wednesday and yeah, I've got a full-length song to show the world, but my Dad (the guy who's usually right when I'm blind to the fact) tells me that the vocal delay is too much/wrong. Though I see nothing wrong with it, I wanna be safe and see what he's talking about.
He DID however tell me that he thinks I should stop giving you guys info on the songs before I release them. He's probably right about that. I guess there'll be no more "early-showings" from me.
Love and Ciao,
Trevor.

New Track: "Thank You For Taking Me In"
New piano track/idea I've been working on today. Check out the lyrics...
Thank You For Taking Me In
I feel like an unwanted stranger to you.
Why do you have to be so hostile?
It'll only hurt for a second.
Try not to squirm.
Don't move around too much.
A lesson to be learned,
Bad feelings based on touch.
You seem unconcerned,
I thank you very much.
We've all got problems,
We're all the same.
We've all got problems.
Thank you for taking me in.
It's got a great sound. Classic acoustic piano LPS all the way. I guess I'll have to make it this week or next week's new track depending on what amount of time I have to lay everything down. My luck, I'll get it all down the day of.
Well, just thought I'd share with you my up-to-date material. Gotta go to sleep for work................ if only I could do this 24/7.................

New Track: Black Pepper
And as I write this up, I'm posting this week's new track/idea.
"Black Pepper" is an instrumental that I came up with an hour ago. Appreciate it and enjoy it as much as I do. At first, I thought I'd make a track that expressed the feeling of being under an acid reflux attack, but when all I could think of was the sound white noise, I dropped that concept.

SS_014-20Jun08 - Episode 14
YEE HAA. Featured twice! Never quite happened before! Yet again, from the UK!
"Your Son Raised A Sinner" and "The Sound Of Velvet Crushing" is featured.
-------------
Yes, as I write this at the wee hours of a Friday morning, those who wait patiently for a new track/idea have been disappointed to notice that two days have gone by without a new post. Let me fill you in as to why...
Three words... "Acid Reflux" and "Flu". For those who suffer from acid reflux, you know the pain and how one could compare it to that of natural child birth, how the pain is so great that Vicodin, considered one of the strongest pain killers, is a joke.
Having said that, THERE WILL BE AN IDEA/TRACK UP THIS WEEK....... just gotta.... come up with one..........
*Ahem* anyways, "John Henry" is the LAST good COMPLETE They Might be Giants album.
Love and Ciao,
Trevor.

New Track "Your Son Raised A Sinner"
Took a big risk making this week's new track about something I never talk about. Ever. At all... my Atheism. I had held this track back from being upload because of the backlash I'd get from my family should they ever hear this song. No, not my immediate family, they know, but almost none of my extended family knows. Hell one of my extended family are all Evangelical Christians! I was, at one point, told "I'd rather have you be Satanic than an Atheist because at least they believe in something!"
Obviously it's not an easy thing for me to talk about because not a lot of people accept Atheists. "Your Son Raised A Sinner" is detailing the scenario in which my grandparents find out by accident and how I believe they'd react.
Also, for the first time, you can hear my voice CLEARLY.
Enjoy the new track - no "hate mail" please (I actually don't get any "fan mail" so in this case I guess no mail is good mail).
YOUR SON RAISED A SINNER
Did you have to
Ask the question?
Now, everybody knows.
A guilty conscience super-
cedes the laugh track of a
TV show called "That's How Life Goes".
Everything's been said and
What's done is done and
Now there's no going back.
Yes, I'm an Atheist
And a proud one at that.
I'll have you know that your
Son raised a sinner and
I'll have you know, he wouldn't have it any other way.
I could of kept my mouth shut and
disagreed completely,
'knew you'd find out anyways.
How do you feel now?
How do you feel?
How do feel now that you know I'm not with God?
You leave the room,
Grab the keys and
Walk out of the situation.
I still love you,
Nothing's changed.
It's not my fault, it's your generation.
What's mine is mine,
To each his own.
Acceptance starts when you leave it alone.
No one cries because
No one cares.
You're both the last to know.
I don't need to deal with this
Life-long bullshit of discrepancy.
We're all the same
How long will that take you to see?
Yeah, the truth hurts, don't it?
Lying hurts even worse.
If you've got a tantrum, throw it
There's already been a first.
All my hurtful secrets are submersed
Yeah, the truth hurts, don't it?
Lying hurts even worse.
How do you feel now?
How do you feel?
How do you feel now that you know I'm not with God?

Featured on a business podcast, but he took the time to talk about my song.
For Immediate Release - Episode 351
A lot of my plays are coming from the UK. I guess that's where my music is appreciated. Not Country/Hard Rock/Rap America. Not to say any of that is bad, just that I listen to none of those because it's all overused and abused and misused.
Love and Ciao,

Yes, that's right, it's been a little while, but alas, I've been featured yet again.

Podsafe Edition May 2008 - (built-in player)
Ahh, the first to play "Dating Is Hard". Love from the UK, as it always seems to be from the UK, something that I am extremely grateful for seeing how the UK kicks serious musical ass.
Another play was on "Inside My Head", but when you click on the website link, nothing comes up. Same with the PMN's built-in podcast player. "No One Is Going To Help You" was... not... played...?
----------
Driver's Ed., work, life... I'll be honest, I have nothing planned for Wednesday, but stick around, I'll make sure and pull something spectacular out of me Wednesday if not within the weeks to come.
Love and Ciao,
Trevor.

Gotta Start Somewhere...
Yes yes, the first post for the Official LPS News site.
New AMAZING track on Wednesday.
I've been working on mastering changes with "Who You Really Are" and "They Don't Bring The Noise". Not sure if I'll upload the changes, it all has to pass by The Man.
Love and Ciao,
Trevor.
P.S. Been thinking about having a nickname (all the big musicians throughout history have had nicknames)... Trevor "Slammer" Hohenthaner. "Slammer" because I slam my hands on the piano in between chords when I get into the rockin' parts... but I gotta think of something about the way I move my head and neck... my family says I look like a "retard", but I'm obviously not gonna have my nickname be "retard"... Trevor "Retarded" Hohenthaner.
Meh, screw the whole idea.
