Post-Performance Reflections

Well, I'm glad to say that the performance, although short, was a success and to those that came out to see me perform, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I also wanna applaud all that performed in the event. You took your everything and put it into music and/or words for everyone to hear and I just think it was all beautiful.

I felt bad for this one girl though. her mother died the year before and so she decided to sing the last song her mother ever sung which turned out to be a badly ripped recording of a country song sung on a dying microphone. LOL classic dark humor. Gotta love it............... the situation, not the.... uhh........... yeah.....

There were some things that were different than in my head...

There weren't 200 people... more like upwards of 30.
All the lights were on in the cafeteria.
It wasn't really a piano, more like an electrical keyboard.

But it totally rocked and I'll have to make this an annual thing - I know there are some people who weren't able to go this time around.

Geesh... walking back into school was kinda surreal... you know you think that you write something off for good when, heh, it turns out to be the place that hosts your first performance...

I left CDs in the hallway and chucked some beneath the door to the main office. No complaints yet.......... IT WASN'T MY IDEA! IT WAS MY DAD'S!

Alright, well, I've got some musical treats for you all in the next couple weeks so sit tight and enjoy!

Love and Ciao,

Trevor.
