Getting back into the swing of things after a short break in new weekly music, I've recently given you some new sounds to evaluate. This week's is no difference. To me, the track is SO good that I couldn't just "upload it" like all the others. Nope. When you've got a track this good, you've gotta make a big deal about it, so I gave it to good friend and podcasting guru Les Zaldor for the debut release of it.

Along with the track, I also sent him a commentary to go along with it describing the song and what it represents to me. That's heard before the song. Enjoy and cherish both.

"First of all, when I said "It sounds like the producer molested the track...", that was pretty strong and definitely unnecessary - I do apologize - and thinking back, I would have chosen my words differently. I ended that comment with "...or maybe it's the other way around." It really is the other way around.
If nobody else has jumpy compression but me, it's me. I'm still trying to work out the production side of music and it's pretty evident here that I have a long ways to go still.
You've got a great podcast with great music. Disregard what I said because it's simply ME complaining about MY shotty production.
I noticed that you featured me on the 30th of October. I thank you very much for that.

I had started to change my production methods but I will remove the faulty processing and hopefully things will improve.

Featured: Inside My Head + Multiple Dalecasts + WHAT THE F*&%!!!
Alright, I went with it even when my Dad said "What is so fucking special about this track?! It's not significant, it's short... WHAT THE HELL!", but since "Say Something Beautiful To Me"'s debut on the podsafe network as a weekly filler track of an idea I had been throwing around, it's been featured SIX TIMES. Now, I'm starting to get a little frustrated as GOOD heartfelt tracks are being passed over for short diddies that have no deep-rooted feelings.
Why oh WHY is this a popular track? Maybe it's because it's about love and love's happiness and being a kid, none of which I've felt for the majority of two years.

Featured: This Reality Podcast
Well, this Wednesday's track is gonna KICK ASS COLLECTIVELY, but to tie you over until then, here's a new feature.
The Reality Podcast was kind enough feature "Say Something Beautiful To Me" which leads me to believe that it's not half bad. If I've got an idea and all that comes of it is a diddy and that simple diddy (which, remember, lasts for a WHOPPING minute and a half) is featured not once but twice, maybe it means I'm not a bad artist after all... which sounds like me tooting my own horn but when you take into account that music is effortless, good music is hard, and GREAT music is impossible, it should all make sense.
In the podcast, the dj says:

Thank You Dalecast + Featured: Say Something Beautiful To Me
I went to bed at five in the morning. Before I quickly feel right to sleep, I had noticed that ever-faithful Dalecast had featured "Say Something Beautiful To Me".
I honestly didn't expect any play from that track or The Alcoholic or any track like those because, although they mean a lot to me, they don't pack a "Dating Is Hard" punch or a "They Don't Bring The Noise" pizazz.
Never before have I had the same podcaster play me this much. I am truly grateful.
Thank you Steve (because, as it turns out, is name isn't Dale).

NEW TRACK...
Yep, it's that time of the week. This time around, I got personal yet against (first my atheism, then I cracked on friends, now it's my alcoholic Uncle) with "The Alcoholic".
If you know my family, you know the guy we shrug off like a bug - which is horrible because "acceptance starts when you leave it alone", but really, I'd rather not leave it alone.
He's never done shit TO the kids, but then again he hasn't done shit WITH the kids.

Featured on yet another podcast. This one from Virginia of all places, but then again I've been featured in Wisconsin, Israel, Minnesota...
The first podcast to feature the FULL song of Dating Is Hard. Madd Props where Madd Props must be given.
I'm the last song, but as always, stay for the whole show.

I should REALLY start getting featured on the radio. Podcasting is great and everything, but it's a method that lacks UMPH. Half the podcasts that have played me have STOPPED making new episodes and it's only been a couple MONTHS! I mean, when I was with Black Adam, staple podcasts that had their own spots on the FRONT PAGE of PMN like Rob Costlow and BandTrax are no longer making new episodes!
I got a feeling that this is where I need to, after getting the CDs pressed, send out copies to college radio and.... college radio and................. alright, so maybe I can't think of anyone else that would... TV shows...!!! Aaaaanndd...... I'll keep thinking................ any suggestions, PLEASE DO TELL!!!

Featured: Living Life as a Gay DJ in The UK + World of Sound
After a podcaster features "The Anatomy Of Truth", his response to it...
"God, get the razors out! I don't know if that's chill music or SUICIDE music!"
I swear, that was a much needed laugh after a HORRIBLE day at work. That's from a podcast that my Dad caught flying under the radar that is Podsafe Music Network's alerting system.
The podcaster who produces the podcast "Living Life as a Gay DJ in The UK" has featured me... twice... as far as I can tell. Once for "Waiting" and another time for "The Anatomy Of Truth". He says he's a fan of my work and that's always an encouraging and welcomed complement.
I do believe that a "Thank You" email is in order for making my day a little brighter.
